Choosing the Right Leotard for Your Daughter

When shopping for your daughter’s next leotard, it's important to consider which leotard will allow your daughter to not only perform her best, but have fun doing it! While long-sleeve leotards have traditionally been the default choice for gymnasts, short-sleeve leotards are becoming increasingly popular. Knowing where to look and what to look for when browsing leotards for toddlers and/or children is critical to ensuring your daughter absolutely loves her next leotard. Prepare for Your First Day of Gymnastics with Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on PBS

Not so long ago, Lindsay sat down with her three-year old daughter to watch an episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Lindsay had just started working for us at Leotard Boutique. Can you imagine how surprised she was to see that one of the girls on this episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood was wearing a lilac short sleeve ruffle leotard from the Leotard Boutique? That wasn't the only thing that was so fantastic about this episode. It was also about a boy named Abbot's first gymnastics class! He was very nervous to try something new, so he decided to bring his favorite stuffy, Duckins, with him to make him feel better. Guess what? It worked!

Here are some photos from the episode that feature our lilac leotard.

These are the fantastic lyrics to the song:

"When you're upset, you can find a way to feel better.

When you're upset or feeling blue, just think of something that you can do to help yourself feel alright like hugging your favorite stuffy tight!

When you're upset, you can find a way to feel better.

Sometimes it helps to have a friend nearby.

Hugs can make you feel better."
