How do I take measurements?
Use a tape measure to determine your child's girth, chest, hips, and waist measurements, then refer to the sizing chart. Sizes are NOT based on age.
Girth
To measure girth, place the end of a tape measure on the center of child's right shoulder.
Run the tape measure loosely down front, between legs and up back to right shoulder.
Chest
With child's arms down, slip tape under arms and across chest and shoulder blades, holding tape firm and level.
Waist
Measure around the natural waistline.
Hips
With child standing, measure around fullest point of the hips.
One of the measurements is listed for a different size. What should I order?
If one of your child's measurements for girth, chest, waist, or hips exceeds the recommended range in any area, you should order based on the largest measurement. When in doubt, size up.
Are sizes based on age?
No. Sizes are not based on age!

Perfect skirt
Very cute. A little bit big on my 18 month old but it worked out. I sewed a lion tail on her rear.
We have this skirt in several colors and love them. My 3yo daughter wears them to tap/ballet. This particular color (nude) was purchased for a Halloween costume but she will probably get a lot of use out of it after Halloween in dance class.
We have ballet 3 times a week and these have held up so well after washing them so many times. We love all their colors.
My daughter likes her leotards that Santa brought her, They fit well and the material appears to be very durable. She has not worn them extensively yet, but being a seamstress myself, I can tell that the material and structure should hold up to wear and washing. I am very satisfied with the product.
